Robert Pattinson was auctioned off yesterday at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS 2009 Cocktail Party in Cannes. At the end of a very high bidding war, Pattinson was split between two bidders who each paid $20,000 for him to give a kiss on the cheek. Proceeds from the auction support amfAR’s work which includes AIDS research, HIV prevention, treatment education and sound AIDS-related public policy. Check out the article here.
